Sourcevoid Privacy Policy

When you use Sourcevoid services, you trust us with your information. This Privacy Policy is meant to help you understand what data we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We take customer privacy very seriously and do our best to make sure we are transparent in how and why we store various information.

We’ve tried to make our policy easy to understand, we assume a certain base knowledge of basic Internet features such as cookies, IP addresses and browsers. If there is anything in our policy that is not clear to you, you are welcome to contact us to get more details.

Information we collect

We collect information from all our users with the purpose of improving and providing better services. The information we collect is a combination of information that you as a user give us directly and information you give us indirectly via your browser or network connection to our services. Information such as your name, email address and contact information you provide is stored in our database so we can contact you regarding our services. When enabling billing for an account we store meta data about your credit card such as name and address, but never credit card numbers as they are only stored with our payment processing partner Stripe. We use Google Analytics to track how our services are used in order to improve upon them. We do use cookies and local storage to store information (including personal information) locally on your device using mechanisms such as browser web storage (including HTML 5) and application data caches. In order to provide detailed invoices and usage statistics for your account and to provide an audit trail, we store meta data of certain deleted database objects such as resource pools, apps and containers. In the process of storing this data we strip away any data we deem sensitive such as environment variables before storing the objects in our archive database collection. We use Facebook’s tracking pixel to enable analytics and enhanced Facebook ads. We use Reddit’s tracking pixel to get analytics of Reddit ads.

How we use information we collect

The information we collect is used to give you a personalized experience and to uphold the legal requirements to do business such as information used for invoices. In order to make payments we store and use payment information with help of our payment process partner Stripe. We use stored log and database data to provide an audit trail and detailed usage statistics on how you have used our services and what they cost. When you contact Sourcevoid, we keep a record of your communication to help solve any issues you might be facing. We may use your email address to inform you about our services, such as letting you know about upcoming changes or improvements. Sourcevoid may process personal information on our servers in countries around the world. We may process your personal information on a server located outside the country where you live.

Transparency and choice

We strive to be clear and transparent about what information we collect and process. If you don’t like or agree with our handling of information we encourage you to contact us so we can try and sort things out or if that is not possible we suggest that you look for a different service provider that fulfills your privacy needs.

Accessing and updating your personal information

We strive to make it possible for you the customer to always be able to update any personal information with the help of our online services. Certain data such as the ip address and phone number you used to verify you account we keep as a record of what country you registered your account from, this information is needed by us so that we can comply with certain tax regulation and restrict the number of accounts per person. You are always welcome to contact us if you have any questions.

Information we share

We do not share personal information with companies, organizations and individuals outside of Sourcevoid without your consent. In the special case of legal issues we may share certain information with legal authorities if forced by law.

Information security

We work hard to protect Sourcevoid and our users from unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of information we hold. Our services are only accessible via TLS/SSL encrypted connections and we handle user passwords using industry best practices.

Privacy Policy Changes

Although most changes are likely to be minor, Sourcevoid may change its Privacy Policy from time to time, and in Sourcevoid’s sole discretion. Sourcevoid encourages visitors to frequently check this page for any changes to its Privacy Policy. Your continued use of our services after any change in this Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such change.
